Dr. Maini graduated from the University of London (UK) medical school and completed his residency training in Ophthalmology from the University of Cambridge.
He graduated from the Corneal Fellowship at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital (University of Melbourne, Australia) and the Oculo-plastic, Lacrimal and Orbital Fellowship at Imperial College School of Medicine (University of London, UK)
He is an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto and has published over 30 peer reviewed publications in the scientific literature along with 3 book chapters.
He has also developed and delivered training programs to ophthalmologists in several developing countries.
