Bio:
Dr. Chan was born in Halifax and grew up in Toronto before moving to the U.S. to attend undergraduate university and medical school in Pennsylvania. She completed her residency training in Ophthalmology and fellowship in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center where she was also a clinical instructor. Dr. Chan returned home to Canada in 2013 to join the University of Alberta Ophthalmology Department and to serve the Edmonton and northern Alberta region. She provides clinical and surgical care for functional and cosmetic eyelid issues, lacrimal and orbital disease, to both adult and pediatric patients. Dr. Chan is a dual Canadian and American board-certified surgeon.
