Bio:
Dr. Hanna earned his medical degree from Saint Joseph University before completing his ophthalmology residency at Eye and Ear University Hospital/USEK and Sorbonne University in Paris, France, where he also obtained an Inter-University Diploma (DIU) in Glaucoma from Paris Diderot University. He then completed a two-year diploma in Orbit and Ophthalmic Pathology at the University of Limoges before moving to Canada to pursue a two-year fellowship in Ophthalmic Plastic, Orbital, and Reconstructive Surgery at McMaster University. To further complement his practice, he completed the American Board of Aesthetic Medicine (ABAM) curriculum in New York City and San Diego.
Currently, Dr. Hanna is an oculoplastic surgeon serving patients throughout West Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. He holds hospital privileges at Trillium Health Partners, a teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Toronto, and is an Assistant Professor at McMaster University, where he serves as a preceptor in the McMaster Oculoplastic Fellowship Program. In addition to his clinical practice and teaching, he remains actively involved in research, with multiple peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national and international conferences.
