With his expertise in oculoplastic surgery, he sees patients from all over Atlantic Canada. Dr. Archibald completed his medical school and residency training at Dalhousie University. He then completed a fellowship in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Calgary. As an assistant professor at Dalhousie University, he does extensive teaching of resident and medical students. He is the past president of the Atlantic Provinces Ophthalmological Society.

She completed her residency training in Ophthalmology and fellowship in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center where she was also a clinical instructor. Dr. Chan returned home to Canada in 2013 to join the University of Alberta Ophthalmology Department and to serve the Edmonton and northern Alberta region. She provides clinical and surgical care for functional and cosmetic eyelid issues, lacrimal and orbital disease, to both adult and pediatric patients. Dr. Chan is a dual Canadian and American board-certified surgeon.

Dr. Hussain completed his medical school and ophthalmology training in the United Kingdom. During residency, he was awarded the Royal College of Ophthalmologists Ethicon and Dorey-Lister Awards for a research fellowship in Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN, USA. After residency, he undertook a fellowship in Oculoplastic Surgery at Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead, UK followed by the two-year ASOPRS Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship in Toronto, Canada. Dr Hussain’s practice specializes in surgery of the orbit, eyelids, and lacrimal systems in adults and children, with special interests in oncology, facial nerve palsy and lacrimal surgery. He has published numerous articles in the peer- reviewed literature and presented both nationally and internationally. In addition to helping train residents, he is one of the few members of the prestigious American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is also a member of the British Oculoplastic Surgery Society (BOPSS).
